What makes Sydney Women's Wellness different?
Sydney Women's Wellness is a GP-led, multidisciplinary women's health clinic focused on evidence-based care, education, and personalised support. We offer longer appointments so there is time to listen properly, explore complex symptoms, and create an individualised plan and follow up. By combining the expertise of women's health GPs with allied health professionals such as lactation consultants, dietitians, and other specialist providers, we deliver thoughtful, collaborative care for every stage of a woman's life.
Do I need a referral?
You do not need a referral to see our GPs, Dr. Sarah, Dr. Jo or Dr Remi. However, if you are seeing a member of our allied health team, a GP referral may help you access a Medicare rebate via a GP Chronic condition management plan.
What ages do you see?
All of them, from before the first period to well past the last. We see girls before periods even begin, to talk about what's normal and take the fear out of what's happening to their bodies. We see teens needing hormonal support for acne, period pain, mood changes or heavy bleeding. We care for women through preconception, fertility and subfertility, then walk alongside them through pregnancy, matrescence and the postpartum months. When hormones misbehave, this is where we do our best work: PCOS, perimenopause and menopause, as well as endometriosis, PMS, PMDD and heavy menstrual bleeding. We are also particularly passionate about breast health and education around what optimal screening looks like for you. And because care doesn't stop at birth, we look after the babies of our patients too, from infancy through to two years old.
